Textile transfer or UV DTF decal? Start with the surface
Garments and mugs need different design products. Confirm the material and intended use before choosing a design.

For garments and fabric bags, check heat compatibility
DTF textile transfers are applied with heat to suitable garments and fabric bags. Confirm the fabric, artwork size and placement before ordering. Follow the specific package instructions for temperature, time, pressure and peeling. Settings for one product or fabric are not universal.
For mugs and storage items, check surface compatibility
UV DTF decals transfer onto suitable smooth, hard surfaces without a heat press. Examples include compatible mug exteriors, phone cases, hard pencil cases and storage items. Curvature, coatings and material affect adhesion, so test the intended combination first. These decals are not textile transfers.
Check the package format and its contents
Common formats are yellow-header 16×21 cm textile transfers, grey-header 8×13 cm UV DTF and beige-header 28×28 cm large designs. The actual package is the reference. Individual motifs on a combined sheet are smaller than the whole sheet; provide the reference and confirm motif count and supply unit.
Show the actual pack beside a matching sample
Display one real pack next to an example made with that design. Explain whether heat pressing or surface transfer is required. Garments and mugs in application scenes are not automatically included in the design pack; discuss blank items and finished production separately.
Separate artwork from blank items in your enquiry to a supplier in Spain
Send Fábrica de Ideas catalogue references or artwork, quantities per design, intended use and delivery postcode. For self-application, specify textile transfers or UV DTF decals. For finished production, list the garments or objects, colours, sizes and design placement separately. Catalogue designs can be mixed with no minimum purchase quantity; custom minimums and production time are confirmed for the proposal. The quote should describe what will actually be supplied, rather than only a scene image.
Prepare these details for an enquiry
- What material will receive the design?
- Does it need heat pressing or surface transfer?
- Have dimensions, motif count and supplied contents been confirmed?
